Pomodoro 40/10 Timer for studying, working and deep focus.
This Pomodoro study session uses longer 40-minute focus periods followed by 10-minute breaks. It's a great alternative to the classic 25/5 Pomodoro method when you prefer more time to concentrate before taking a break.
🍅 POMODORO 40/10
40 minutes of focused study or work
10 minute break
Longer focus sessions
Clear work and break periods
Designed for studying, working and deep focus
WHY TRY A 40/10 POMODORO?
The traditional Pomodoro Technique commonly uses 25 minutes of focus followed by a short break.
But 25 minutes isn't ideal for everyone.
Sometimes you're just getting properly concentrated when those 25 minutes are already over.
A 40/10 Pomodoro gives you more uninterrupted time for studying, reading, writing, programming, homework or other tasks that require concentration.
Then you get a full 10-minute break before starting your next focus session.
HOW TO USE THIS POMODORO TIMER
Before the timer starts, choose one task you want to work on.
During the 40-minute focus session:
Work on one task
Put your phone away
Avoid unnecessary distractions
Don't worry about everything else you still need to do
Just concentrate on the current session
When the 10-minute break starts, step away from your work for a moment.
Stand up.
Stretch.
Get some water.
Rest your eyes.
Then come back for the next focus session.

You don't have to study alone.
Use this Pomodoro session as a virtual study companion while preparing for exams, doing homework, reading, writing or working on a difficult project.
The goal isn't to work endlessly.
The goal is simple:
40 minutes of focus.
10 minutes to reset.
Then start again.
IS 40/10 BETTER THAN 25/5?
There isn't one Pomodoro schedule that works perfectly for everyone.
Some people prefer the classic Pomodoro 25/5 method. Others find that longer focus periods such as 40/10 or 50/10 fit their concentration and type of work better.
Try different Pomodoro timers and find the rhythm that works best for you.
