My feet feel nothing but humble, prudent & yet full of zeal! stepping into this vast ocean of sound. I feel in debt with the supreme blessing to be learning form Gurudev Bedi Saaib ji and this is more of a exploration of the epic Raag Yaman. The Alaap may not be climbing in the traditional progression in terms of it,s suggested upaj of the raag. The Surbahar I am playing here has a Number 7 Gauge Baaj, so its very heavy to play! thou I feel it, works vert well on the Rudra Veena style frets also know as Ganga Jumana. The Kanai Lal Surbahar was sounding good this morning, as these vintage instruments do have a temperament of there own no doubt! this inspired me to record and share my sadhana with friends and family of raasiks and raasikas worldwide.
