Running two American Flyer O gauge 0-8-0's on 08-11-2026

Gary and I visited our friend Bill that owns S-'n-S Trains last week. This was a long awaited trip that we were finally able to coordinate. I purchased some prewar Gilbert American Flyer parts. One item in the purchase was an original prewar 0-8-0 tender shell that goes with a 574 engine. Today I installed it on the tender chassis of my second O gauge 0-8-0 which I built from a postwar 342. This has a chassis that I widened and a reproduction O gauge steam chest. I really like having the prewar tender top on it now. I posted photos of the post war S gauge shell along with the prewar shell for comparison. Thank you for watching.
