📖 About the Period:
The Age of Revival (1400–1550) represents the beginning of the English Renaissance. During this period, Europe experienced a renewed interest in Greek and Roman classical learning, leading to significant developments in literature, education, art, science, and human thought. Although it is sometimes called the Barren Age because comparatively fewer great literary works were produced in English, the period laid the foundation for the flourishing of Elizabethan literature.
