Old Hitachi elevator, mod by STEP, & escalators, rep by BLT Brilliant, at Gadong Properties Centre.

There are only one elevator and two escalators at Gadong Properties Centre. Two of these escalators are previously operated and used by Hitachi from 1980s until 2024 while the elevator are previously operated and used by Hitachi until it got modernised by a extremely worse and a terrible Shanghai STEP generic elevator, killing an poor old Hitachi elevator for no reason with a floor controller and a call station. This elevator is very badly maintained and the black CCTV inside are not working anymore. Luckily, I was able to film it. The Hitachi Elevator’s analogue floor indicator and an arrow lanterns are still remaining on the cabs designs. An Shenyang Brilliant BLT Escalators replaced an old Hitachi escalators with single file stairs on May 2024 during a half renovation of this building and a Hitachi escalators single file stairs are converted into a double file stairs by Shenyang Brilliant BLT.
