Righteous Brothers - Just Once In My Life (Original mono recording)

Righteous Brothers Just Once In My Life (Goffin-King-Spector) Original mono recording produced by Phil Spector & arranged by Jack Nitzsche Recorded at Gold Star Studios in January/February 1965, issued as the A side of Philles 127 in April 1965. It was also the title track of the second Righteous Brothers album on Philles 4008, released in June 1965. In the UK, the original single on London American HL-9962, was withdrawn in April 1965, only to be eventually released on HL-10066 in August 1966. While nearly all Righteous Brothers compilation albums feature the stereo mix, this version presents the track the way producer Phil Spector intended, in his signature mono 'Wall of Sound', free from the instrument separation of the stereo release. This mono recording has a longer fade-out than the stereo mix. https://RighteousBrothersDiscography.com
