Don’t Fade Away (1988) — Hold On to Us | Dreamwave • Synthwave • Retrowave

Dreamwave, synthwave & retrowave — a lost 80s FM radio hit from an alternate timeline. 🌴 Night Drive Records — synthetic nights, analog dreams. Vintage hardware tones (Roland SH-101, Korg MS-20, Prophet-5, Linn LM-1) built for rain-soaked streets, smoke-filled European clubs, and cities that never forgot your name. It’s 1988, and two people sit across from each other in a quiet café, pretending they’re ready to say goodbye while hoping neither one ever stands up to leave. “Don’t Fade Away” blends dreamwave, synthwave, retrowave, and authentic European underground electronic production into a forgotten 12-inch club classic from an alternate timeline. Driven by hypnotic analog basslines, restrained vocals, and vintage synth textures, it’s a bittersweet anthem about fighting to hold on when love is quietly slipping away. Created with modern creative tools and inspired by the timeless sound of early 1980s European electronic music. New tracks uploaded regularly.
