1959 Arvin HiFi 3586 with 1586 Stereo speaker accessory!

I was asked by one of the the members of the local radio club that I belong too, to see If I could get a working set going for our spring meeting. I had 4 donors to work with 2 were the 3586s. One was a 3586-1 and one was the 1586 amplified speaker. The grills were incredibly fragile. The heat from the tubes had made them very brittle. I replaced the capacitors, buffed out all the brightwork, compounded and polished the plastic speaker covers, cleaned the bodies, cleaned and lubricated the pots/tuner/pulleys. Two tubes were bad, etc, etc... I had them apart and back together countless times. This one was a labor of love/hate! Lol 🤣
