Crush Meta With Ashened Horus! Gameplay & Deck Profile! Best Ashened Deck? [Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel]

Hey everyone! Today I'll show you a deck where I tried to combine Ashened with the Horus engine. Surprise surprise, it works really well! Lore: The Ashened are a somber and enigmatic faction shrouded in the veil of forgotten memories and smoldering ruins. Their story begins in an ancient world where fire and shadow danced as equals, a delicate balance that sustained the realm. The Ashened were once protectors of this equilibrium, a sacred duty passed through generations. They were revered not as warriors or rulers, but as keepers of the Everflame—a primal force that bound life and death, creation and destruction. But pride is a treacherous ember. A sect within the Ashened sought to wield the Everflame as a tool of conquest, envisioning a world where its power crowned them as gods. Their hubris ignited a cataclysmic event known as the Emberfall. The Everflame roared out of control, consuming cities, forests, and even the very air itself. The land was reduced to ash, and the skies turned gray, choking the world in an eternal twilight. Those who survived were marked, their bodies twisted and burned, their memories seared into fragments. The Ashened became a cursed people—half-forgotten spirits tethered to a broken world. They wander the ashen wastes, their every step stirring the gray powder of what once was. Their forms, though still humanoid, are cloaked in emberlight and trailing smoke, a haunting reflection of their tragic origins. Some whisper that their very existence is penance, an eternal march to preserve what remains of the fragile balance they once shattered. Among the Ashened are whispers of the Emberfall's true purpose. Some claim the catastrophe was not born of greed, but of desperation—a final act to fend off an encroaching void that sought to devour their world. Others insist it was an act of betrayal, that one among them betrayed the sacred trust for personal power, dooming all. These conflicting tales further fragment the Ashened's already tenuous grasp on their past, and the truth lies buried beneath layers of soot and sorrow. Yet, amidst their curse, the Ashened possess a strange, ethereal power. They command flames that neither burn nor warm, casting light that illuminates the path but never the destination. Their connection to the Everflame allows them to wield its remnants, shaping it into tools, weapons, and even spectral companions. This power, both a blessing and a burden, serves as a constant reminder of what they’ve lost—and what they must protect. Legends tell of a prophecy among the Ashened: one day, the Everflame will be rekindled, its wrath tamed, and the world reborn. Until that day, the Ashened remain vigilant, their ashen hearts burning faintly with hope. They walk a path fraught with regret and resolve, seeking redemption for their ancestors' mistakes and safeguarding a realm that no longer remembers them.
