Hyderabad turns into a sea of devotees as thousands of Lord Ganesha idols make their way towards Hussain Sagar for the grand immersion procession. The city witnessed vibrant celebrations with massive crowds, drum beats, folk dances and colourful processions across Tank Bund, Necklace Road and major routes. Authorities have deployed 10,000 CCTV cameras, 24 drones and high-rise surveillance cameras to monitor the immersion procession. Police have also made elaborate security arrangements, with She Teams deployed in three shifts.
