What happens when a road trip starts with Mahadev… the phone network disappears… the weather suddenly changes… and the plains slowly turn into mountains? Welcome back to The Voyager Diary! ❤️ I’m Monisha — Journalist, Business Woman & Travel Vlogger, and this time our journey takes us from Tezpur, Assam, towards Arunachal Pradesh. After our Kaziranga journey, the road now leads us towards the mountains. Our first stop is the mystical Sri Sri Mahabhairav Mandir, a place deeply connected with the legends of Banasura, Lord Shiva and the ancient history of Tezpur. From there, we travel towards the Brahmaputra and Ganesh Ghat, leave the city behind and slowly enter the wilderness. And then something changes… 📵 The phone network starts disappearing. 🌊 We stop beside the beautiful Jia Bharoli River. 🌿 The concrete jungle gives way to forests and mountains. 🚗 We reach Bhalukpong — the gateway towards Arunachal Pradesh. 🛂 We cross the Assam–Arunachal route after completing the necessary permit formalities. 🌫️ And suddenly… the weather changes.
