British Musical Fireworks Championship 2026 - Sunday, 27 September - Southport, Merseyside England.

This Highlight Footage was filmed for:-@SouthportReporter on:- Sunday, 27 September 2026, at the:- Night British Musical Fireworks Championships 2026. The 2026 BMFC had 6 teams competing against each other across 2 amazing nights:- Saturday, 26 September and Sunday, 27 September 2026. All 6 displays eliminated the night sky above Victoria Park, in Southport, England, with colourful explosions, that had been carefully choreographed and synchronised to music. High winds meant additional mitigation measures had to be introduced, meaning spectators would not have seen the displays exactly as the teams originally intended. The special safety measures meant teams had to remove some pyrotechnics, including:- spectacular aerial effects such as:- brocade fireworks, which create dense spherical bursts of long lasting gold or silver trails resembling a weeping willow or fine spider lace. Other items also had to be removed, while shell rack angles would have been altered for safety. Judges would make allowances for the restrictions, although the changes inevitably had an impact on the displays.
