Subject: Request for Re-Examination of All Candidates at Shri Satya Sai PG College, Jaipur – AIAPGET 2026
To,
The Director,
National Testing Agency (NTA)
New Delhi
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing regarding the AIAPGET 2026 examination conducted on 22 August 2026 at Shri Satya Sai PG College, Jaipur.
We sincerely appreciate the decision of NTA to conduct a re-examination for the 49 candidates who could not complete their examination due to the power failure at the centre.
However, we respectfully request NTA to reconsider the decision and conduct the re-examination for ALL candidates who appeared at Shri Satya Sai PG College, Jaipur, rather than only the affected 49 candidates.
Our concerns are as follows:
1. The examination environment at the same centre was disrupted due to the power failure, which makes the situation different from a normal examination conducted under uniform conditions.
2. AIAPGET is a highly competitive examination where even a difference of 1 mark can significantly change the rank. Therefore, any difference in marks between candidates who appear on different dates may directly affect their All India Rank, percentile and subsequent counselling opportunities.
3. The questions and examination-related discussions are already being discussed among students after the examination. Even if the re-examination is conducted with a different question paper, candidates appearing later may have an unavoidable advantage from discussions regarding the examination pattern, difficulty level, topics and questions.
4. If only 49 candidates are allowed to reappear while the remaining candidates from the same centre retain their original examination, there may be a serious concern regarding equal opportunity and fairness in ranking.
5. Since all candidates from the centre are ultimately competing for the same All India Rank, seats and counselling opportunities, it would be more fair and transparent to provide the same examination opportunity to all candidates who appeared at the affected centre.
6. We therefore humbly request NTA to consider conducting the re-examination for all 192 candidates who appeared at Shri Satya Sai PG College, Jaipur, so that every candidate gets an equal and unbiased opportunity.
We have full faith in NTA and its commitment to conducting examinations fairly and transparently. Our request is not against the re-examination of the affected 49 candidates; rather, we request that all candidates of the affected centre be given the same opportunity in the interest of equality, transparency and a fair ranking process.
We kindly request NTA to consider this matter urgently before the re-examination scheduled for 01 September 2026 and take an appropriate decision in the interest of all AIAPGET 2026 candidates.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Concerned
