Kani Flight│After 10 Years, Passing Down the Tools of Paper Airplane Building During our flight session in Kani, a paper airplane building jig appeared again for the first time in about ten years. Tanimoto-san used this tool back when he was flying catapult-launched paper airplanes. By adjusting the hinge, the spacing between the aluminum plates can be widened or narrowed. After sitting unused for many years, the jig has finally returned—and this time, it is being passed on to a new owner. Good tools can last for decades. Beautiful airplanes often begin with beautiful tools. This video is not only about flying paper airplanes, but also about the tools, ideas, and craftsmanship that are passed down over time. Thank you for watching.
