ACB Show & Tell: Bach 43/43 Lightweight! Fantastic All-Around Bach Setup!

[Links in description] I've always loved the Bach 43/43 setup so it's great to have this horn in the shop! This one actually has a lightweight 43 bell, with a 43 leadpipe. This was a very popular commercial setup in the 70s and 80s, and you can hear why! This horn has a lot of core to the sound. A lot of people think the 43 is just for commercial work but it's much more versatile than that. This horn is a great all-around option. It works well with a variety of mouthpieces. Of course it really lights up with a commercial mouthpiece as well. The 43 leadpipe is a little more open than the standard 25. The bell bend on this particular horn is a little more square than a traditional Bach bell so it plays a little more compact. Keep in mind Bach Stradivarius trumpet are handmade, so there are some slight variations from horn to horn. This one was made during the 1980s and it's a really nice player with great valve compression. We've aligned the valves on this horn here at the shop. The valves have metal guides, which is a great feature on this trumpet (we can swap for nylon if you want). The third slide has what looks like a factory original water key on the dump slide! The 43 bell has a little more richness and spread to the sound, but it also has a great spin to the sound. This would be a great option if you're looking to upgrade your trumpet for a VERY fair price. Check out the listing here on our web store: https://www.austincustombrass.biz/pre...
