Discussing Book of Mormon HISTORICITY evidence for and against with Kolby Reddish

We pick 2 topics each to share supporting our different positions. I take the position as a believer while there isn’t definitive proof or definitive evidence for the Book of Mormon, I see plausible evidence and arguments in favour, and interesting connections. Kolby takes the view that there are historical issues going against the Book of Mormon’s historical claims, and why he doesn’t find the evidence strong enough on certain points. In this part we discuss Old world Arabian Geography specifically the incense trail, Nahom and Bountiful. We also discuss the dead sea scrolls and that the Book of Mormon seems to follow the KJV rather than having significant alignments with the Isaiah scroll from Qumran. We talked about ancient Hebrew festivals, ancient names and wordplays and chiastic structures in the Book of Mormon. Kolby brings up textual density challenges and whether Egyptian would have appreciably saved space compared to Hebrew.
