Christians Have an Easy Life, Right? (1 Peter 4)

Nobody told Ron that following Jesus would be hard. Peter's readers didn't expect it either: exiled Christians finding that life with Christ wasn't as easy as they'd hoped. In 1 Peter 4:12–19, Peter gives them three commands for when following Jesus costs something: do not be surprised, rejoice, and entrust your soul to a faithful Creator. Ron also takes us inside the Polunski Unit, a maximum-security prison in Livingston, Texas, where God is doing something remarkable. Elder Ron LaFevers, Journey Bible Fellowship.
