August Heat 26 #2

The ocean conditions were contrary to the forecast and it was lumpy all day. My buddy had to stay at the helm and I had to run the gear. Marine area 2 recently closed for chinook retention and so it was a hunt for coho. So it goes, we hook four kings including a double on beautiful chinook which we had to throw back. We were one short of our limit retaining only three silvers. It was basically non stop action. Obviously we both need to brush up on our netting skills. It was a bit challenging with the rockin and rollin. We did discover a small hole in the base of the net in which the first coho vanished into. That won't happen again.
