Welcome back to my channel! I noticed my Lamy Safair was looking CRUSTY at the bottom of the nib (above the feed? idk pen terms, please educate me if you care, lol) and I had recently cleaned out my purple TWSBI to use a new ink and this kind of works, I'm nervous about damaging parts so I'm going for more less invasive measures. I watched a video recently about a common mistake made when filling fountain pens, I'll link it below, but one thing I took away from it was to like chill about the perfectionism, lol. Idk if the creator intended that, but I struggle to do things without doing them COMPLETELY (like dismantling the entire thing and getting every microscopic bit of water and ink out) but that's just more opportunity to break something and I'd like to keep these for as long as I can! They are expensive, after all.
