Journaling with Sterling Ink Layouts | Imagining Myself Traveling and Writing About Greece

✨Like and subscribe✨ if you enjoyed this video. This is August in my Sterling Ink sticker project. One sticker kit per month in a 2025 A5 planner, working through all of my 2024 collections and using each month to explore a different version of myself. This time I leaned into a travel writer persona spending a week each in Athens, Hydra, Santorini and Corfu, writing a piece for a publication with some watercolor illustrations alongside the photography. I took a journal approach this month and wrote a lot, more than I expected, and honestly more than I would ever do in real life. By the end my hand was tired and I have a new appreciation for people who journal daily because I simply cannot do that. But I loved forming the story and figuring out who this persona was as I went, rather than planning it all out ahead of time. The last entry I read aloud in this video is the one that summed everything up for me. Finishing the assignment, putting the camera away, wandering without capturing, sitting on a bench with some cats, getting takeout and eating cross-legged on the bed with the windows open. That is the version of a trip I want to actually take someday. I also tried a lot of different layout approaches here, horizontal sections, vertical columns, writing around stickers, letting it sprawl across pages.
