JOHN 14:1-6; PROVERBS 28:13
As Jesus prepared to leave the earth, He assured His disciples that His words were always true because God cannot lie.
God speaks today through His written word, not through modern voices, visions, or new revelations.
At the heart of the sermon is the claim that Jesus is the way—not Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Moses, the Pope, or any religious figure.
Good men can guide, but only Christ can save. He is the one mediator between God and humanity because He alone offered Himself as a ransom for all.
Core Themes: Jesus alone saves
He is the only path to the Father. Many paths exist in the world, but none lead to heaven except Christ.
Truth through Scripture
Jesus does not speak audibly today as He did to the apostles. We hear His voice through the written word. God once spoke through dreams, visions, and even a donkey, but in these last days He speaks through His Son.
The need for readiness
Jesus is coming again—this time in judgment. Believers must live prepared, watchful, and faithful. Death is not to be feared but embraced as a reward for the righteous.
One way under both covenants
Jesus died for all—those under the Old Covenant and the New. Abraham blessed nations, but he cannot bring anyone to heaven.
People reject Jesus
Many will miss heaven because they reject Christ, dismiss the New Testament, or mishandle Scripture. Jesus never told His followers to force belief; people must be persuaded by the preaching of the gospel.
The transfiguration’s message
When Moses and Elijah appeared, Peter wanted to build three tabernacles. God corrected him: “Hear My beloved Son.” Jesus—not Moses, not Elijah—is the one to listen to.
Key Doctrinal Points
Jesus is the mediator — the bridge between God and man. Holiness is the only path — Israel was told to walk in the “old paths,” and believers today must do the same.
Scripture must be rightly divided — rejecting Jesus or misusing Scripture leads to spiritual ruin.
The Christian age is the final dispensation — God sees time differently, but He has spoken fully and finally through His Son.
Final Emphasis
All hope is found in Jesus. Without Him, humanity has no access to the Father, no salvation, and no eternal life. Many will miss heaven because they reject the only One who can save them. But those who hear His voice through Scripture, obey His teachings, and remain faithful will find the way home.
