MNMT Recordings : Mod.1 @ Otsukimi Festival 2026 - Japan

Rooted in the Japanese tradition of contemplating the moon, Otsukimi is a gathering where music, nature and the passing of time come together in a unique shared experience. For MOD.1, playing at Otsukimi was an opportunity to connect with this philosophy through sound, creating a strictly vinyl only journey that unfolded naturally alongside the changing light of the day. The set began from zero, with ambient textures slowly opening the space and setting the atmosphere. From there, it gradually evolved into a sonic narrative woven through atmospheric layers, percussive rhythms and hypnotic sounds, following the transition from daylight into dusk and finally into the darkness of the night. Recorded under the changing skies of Otsukimi. Follow :   / mod_1     / mod.1___
