Grammy-winning, wife-husband duo Nicole Zuraitis and Dan Pugach are back on Friday, April 18, with a bold Big Band reimagining of Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene.” The couple have a long history with “Jolene” — “it’s been kind of like our anthem together,” Dan explains. Both have previously recorded the song, with Dan receiving a Grammy nod in 2018 for his nonet arrangement. Now, they return to it once more, with Dan revamping his arrangement for a full Big Band. This will be a bonus track from Nicole’s recent EP siren songs volume 1, which celebrates the brilliance of women songwriters across American music.
