Why I Canceled My Headshots at the Last Minute | Day 239

Good morning and welcome to Day 239 of the 365-day vlog challenge! Let me tell you right out of the gate: never ask me to follow someone else's verbal directions unless you want absolute chaos, because trying to navigate to our business meetup tonight had me completely turned around and questioning my life choices! The day started off busy enough with a regular workday, running to the post office to finally ship off that package for Aunt Lainey (before she put a hit out on me!), and realizing halfway out the door that I completely forgot the change-of-clothes shirt I needed for my headshots. But the real plot twist happened later when I met up with the business buddies. I was all set to get my headshots done, but one look at my hair had me pumping the brakes instantly. It was mad frizzy and just not cooperating, and I refused to waste my time or money on photos I knew I wouldn't like. Sometimes you have to call it, protect your peace, and skip the shoot—especially when you know an amazing spa day in West Palm Beach is waiting for you tomorrow morning! Despite the wrong turns, the parking panic, and a hairstyle that was totally irking my spirit, we made it through with some great laughs and leftover lentils that tasted even better the second day.
