St. Francis Hospital Legacy Ceremony - Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse honored more than 140 years of healing, compassion and service at the St. Francis Building during a legacy ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 1. Mayo Clinic Health System leaders, staff and special guests gathered to reflect on the building's history, recognize the people who shaped it and celebrate its long-standing role in caring for patients, families and the La Crosse community. Through stories, memories and expressions of gratitude, the ceremony honored the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, who founded the hospital in 1883, and the generations of nurses, physicians, staff, volunteers and leaders whose dedication helped build and sustain St. Francis Hospital's mission of care. The program commemorates the lasting impact of St. Francis Hospital and the people whose commitment to serving others continues to inspire Mayo Clinic Health System's mission today.
