The Different Beat #3 - Cooper-Moore pt1

The third episode of The Different Beat - Peter Urpeth's vlog series on remarkable creative musics and musicians - is an interview in two parts with pianist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, instrument builder and band leader, Cooper-Moore. This portrait film was recorded in Cooper-Moore's home in East Harlem, New York in May 2018. Originally from Virginia, Cooper-Moore's early work with David S Ware prompted a move to New York, and since the late 1960s Cooper-Moore has remained one of the truly unique voices in American creative music.
