You're Mine (Original) - Vihan Damaris | 10th anniversary special

My first song, 'You're Mine', written 10 years ago this week. Stick to the end to hear how and why I wrote it. I left out something. While writing, God revealed to me how far I'd gone from Him, considering I knew Him, was baptized, and loved Him. Apparently I didn't love Him enough to listen to His voice. Often He'd call, and I'd choose my own way. The assurance He gave that I was His, was soothing and sobering at the same time. Soothing because that's the BEST, sobering coz I wasn't acting like it. But when He said that He's mine, I knew I could trust Him whole-heartedly. There is no king who gives himself to his people, who will ill treat them. Such a King will only do what is best for them, love and care for them with all His heart. That assurance makes me sing joyfully, that I am His, and He is mine.
