Prey (Predator) Tribute - Bring Me To Life

PREY: AMAZING MOVIE It was in 2018 when the last Predator movie was released, which was not very good, now five years later, the mortal enemy of Alien returns in an origin movie (more or less). The story places us in the Comanche nation, 300 years ago, the protagonist named Naru (Amber Midthunder) is a warrior who protects the tribe from any threat, she lives in the shadow of other expert hunters and when she finally has the opportunity , embarks on a dangerous journey to hunt down a strange beast that hides in the forest, but she will also become the prey of something else. That would be the summary well summarized so now I want to talk about my experience and I must say that I was quite surprised by how good this film turns out to be, because of how things are now with current cinema, with all the lack of ideas and the fact that the studios are no longer taking risks and prefer to deliver forgettable Sunday movies before a good transcendental film. I am very satisfied that with #Prey it is not the case since it is not a movie like Predator (2018) but we see the beginning of the Predator saga from a point of view never seen before in the AVP universe (Alien Vs Predator ), with a healthy dose of horror and gore, this movie is what every Predator fan would want to see. About the performances, I think that the one who stands out the most is Amber Midthunder as Naru, she is a strong, strategic and very cool character, it really is great to see how she fights against Predator and the soldiers, and I loved her character development, she is charismatic and the battle The end is the best thing about the movie, we also have Dakota Beavers as Taabe who is a hunter who protects the tribe and Dane DiLiegro as the Predator which I must say is one of the coolest designs I've seen in the entire saga, already that we see a Yautja using primitive weapons and tools and a bone helmet, that's great. In general, the level of production that this film has is surprising, you really feel that you are in the middle of the fight in a place where the characters must survive the new threat that lies in wait for them. The truth is that I am very happy with what this film was, it is rare to see deep and exciting works today, but it is good that they took the risk to show us something different and thanks to that we had this wonderful film that, although it feels a bit slow at the beginning, after the second act we have an incredible hunt. I hope we continue to see more of this Alien Vs Predator universe, I think it would not be bad to see them face each other again and if they do more Predator movies, hopefully they will be as impressive as Prey was.
