She Lost Both Car Keys. It Hasn't Moved in Three Months. | The Jefflicia Cast Ep 005

Married couple podcast: two lost car keys, three months, one car that never moved, plus an Eagles win and a lower body workout. New episodes every Wednesday. Alicia lost both keys to her car. Not one. Both. The car has been sitting in front of the house since June, and she would not let us get a replacement made, because she was going to find them. This week we caved and called a locksmith. That is the end of an era, and Jeff is handling it with all the grace of a man who has been right for three months. Then the actual crime of the week: Jeff stayed up late for a solid week watching Stranger Things with his wife, got to season 5 episode 4, and she finished the last four episodes without him on the first Sunday of the NFL season while he was in the other room watching the Eagles. Alicia's lower body workout: single leg RDLs, sumo squats and farmer carries with 60 pound kettlebells. Balance, glutes and grip, and Jeff has done it and been sore for days. Philly Phix: the Eagles beat Washington 24 to 22 in a sloppy opener. Jalen Hurts went 14 of 25 for 203 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to Dallas Goedert. Washington missed a two point conversion at the end and that was the whole margin. Also, Jeff was right about the Phillies and Alicia was wrong, and he brings it up exactly as much as you would expect. Then a conversation about Sunday food that turns into a real one about what each of us expects from the other, and after that the part of this episode we did not plan: what this show actually is, why Alicia was terrified of being on camera a year ago, how we met, and the single worst thing she has ever cooked. Spinach, cottage cheese, blueberries, protein powder, peanut butter and cinnamon. Boiled. She made Jeff eat it.
