Under the hood you'll find the 2.5L Boxer 4 cylinder with net HP at 194 with net TQ at 199. You do get a CVT with a shift mode, but this can get about 35 MPG and over 581 miles on one tank of gas! The range is impressive in the new hybrid Forester. I drove this every single day for the week and still had a quart tank left when Subaru picked this up. I drove it down and back to our big city multiple ties and it just kept running. Overall this drives pretty much like the standard Subaru Forester, however the hybrid system gives it a small bump in power under initial acceleration. The EV power is nice to assist acceleration and helps the vehicle coast. You can drive slow in electric mode which is great for moving the car around your driveway. Great interior space in this 2025 Forester and it's an overall nice driving car. If you wan't something roomy and affordable for the family the 2025 Subaru Forester is a great choice! The hybrid especially is really nice for a family with adventure packed weekends.
