Sinner Will LOSE No 1 to Zverev Without Playing a SINGLE Match!

#JannikSinner #AlexanderZverev #ATPRankings - Jannik Sinner is out for the rest of 2026 with his knee and is still world No. 1. Alexander Zverev has never held the top spot, yet he has sealed year-end No. 1. Zizou Bergs, ranked 39th, beat Carlos Alcaraz 7-5, 7-6 at the Shanghai Masters, a day after Ben Shelton lost. That makes Zverev the first German man to end a season at No. 1. Sinner leads the live ranking 10,950 to 9,770, but Zverev leads the Race to Turin 8,850 to 7,950. In this video: the 3,000 points keeping Sinner on top and who he beat to win them, the two November dates the list can turn, the only two men to seal it before ever being No. 1, and why Zverev says Jannik is still ahead. My read: Zverev earned it. The ranking rewards the man who was there, and only he made every Slam semi-final. Does a 0-6 season against Sinner and Alcaraz take anything away from his No. 1? #JannikSinner #AlexanderZverev #ATPRankings #CarlosAlcaraz #ShanghaiMasters
