Welcome back to NEW FRONTIER — our continuing Transport Fever 3 livestream series! Tonight we’re working our way further through the ages and starting to bring some of the older parts of the network up to date. A lot of the routes, stations and lines that worked perfectly earlier in the series are now starting to show their age, so tonight is all about upgrading, modernising and improving what we already have. 🚂 NEW FRONTIER CONTINUES We’ll be focusing on: • Upgrading older railway lines • Improving outdated infrastructure • Reworking weak junctions and stations • Increasing capacity where demand has grown • Replacing or upgrading older trains • Improving freight and passenger routes • Preparing the network for newer technology • Fixing bottlenecks and inefficient sections • Expanding where it actually makes sense • Continuing to grow our cities and industries One of the things I love about this series is that we’re not just building something once and leaving it forever. The network changes. Technology improves. Cities grow. Demand increases. And eventually the things we built years ago need to be revisited and completely rethought. That’s exactly what tonight is about. We’re taking the infrastructure that helped build New Frontier in the early years and making sure it can survive the next stage of the journey.
