Recording Drums - Mono Room Mic Experimenting

I'm continuing my workflow shake up with some mono room mic experimenting. I LOVE mono room mics. In my opinion a mono room mic is kind of a secret weapon of ambience. However, I've gotten in a flow of using the same mics. Do they work? Of course but I want to change things up a bit and the only way I know how to do that is to explore new options. Or in some cases re-explore! The point is to take some time to find some new sounds. Whatever mics you have put them to use in a new way and hear what happens! Happy recording!
