LP endorser Louie Romero played with the Willie Colon Band and the Fania All-Stars and recorded some of their biggest hits. The song "Timbalero" was written for him by Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe. Now living on the West Coast, Romero celebrated his 20th anniversary with his San Francisco based band, Louie Romero y su Mazacote in September.
