Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 landing into London Gatwick Airport LGW

This video was shot from the main deck (Seat 44A) of this Boeing 747-400. This seat was given to me and it offers and excellent view of the wing elements working. I was fortunate to capture the tiny flaperons stabilising the flight in another video. This was flight VS1044 (originally VS44) that departed from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport LAS and was bound for London Gatwick LGW. This video covers the landing and part of the taxi to the gate at London Gatwick Airport LGW. Our flight was delayed by 23 hours. The cause of the delay was said to be an electronic box on one of the aircraft's engines that reports its temperature to the flight computers. The reason behind the series of short delays the previous day was that the engineers had to investigate and identify the failure, following which they tried to find a replacement part. They then found a suitable spare in California and had it flown over. We were waiting in the terminal building for the part to arrive and the engineers to install it, however when it arrived the task turned out to be more time consuming that initially thought; therefore the airline announced the overnight delay. This aircraft has 3 classes. Virgin Atlantic's fleet of Boeing 747-400s is powered by the GE CF6-80C2 turbofans.
