A desktop view of a recent addition to my steam roster: a Broadway Limited T1 4-4-4-4. The scene starts at a desktop side view as the locomotive goes through it's start up sequence, followed by the dynamo that powers the lights and other electrical gadgets on the loco. The engine starts off with two whistle blasts and gradually gets to cruising speed, with the volume increase as each step of increase is initiated. We rotate the view to catch the front of the engine to view the headlight, then slow the train down, eventually stopping the engine as we ready to reverse the locomotive. Another rotation to the rear of the tender to view the tail light as it is in reverse, followed by a slow down to a temporary stop. When the engine proceeds forward again, the tail light shuts off. A final rotation to the side of the engine and a slow down to a stop, and the shutdown sequence.
