We discussed adding some more length to her sleeves by adding two pleats and seamlessly blending the new fabric into the back seam near the zipper. Although the original fabric—sent from the bridal store—was approved by our bride. It didn’t quite match when the final addition was pinned to the sleeve so at her second fitting, we opted for a better-matching fabric we had on hand, and it made all the difference.
