In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Witnesses of History: The American Revolution continues with the moment Congress chose the man who would carry the war. June 15, 1775. The army outside Boston needed more than courage. It needed command. The colonies were divided by region, interest, fear, pride, and distance. New England had already bled at Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill. Boston was under siege. The war had started, but the Revolution still needed to become one cause. This song enters the room where the question became heavy: Who could lead thirteen colonies into one war? The Quiet Sword is about George Washington before the legend — not as marble, not as myth, but as a man standing under the weight of a decision no one could fully understand yet. He did not reach for a crown. He did not ask for glory. He accepted the burden. This is the sound of reluctant command — the quiet sword chosen for a desperate cause.
