When you think of naval powers, North Korea probably isn't at the top of your list...and frankly given the state of their naval forces for the last seventy years it shouldn't be. But now the DPRK apparently has ambitions to nuclear-armed, Blue Water navy status, and it's pouring funding into subs and surface combatants to try and get there.
