📚A Successful Field Trip to Nose Hill Public Library! 👏👏👌 What a wonderful and successful field trip to the Nose Hill Public Library today! 📚 Children experienced a new learning environment and had so many opportunities to explore, discover, and engage in active play. They explored different play areas, including a variety of blocks including magnetic blocks 🧲🧱, and enjoyed a large cozy corner where they created their own pretend-play experiences using stuffed fabric animals, fruits, vegetables, and baskets. 🧸🍎🥕🧺 We also enjoyed our lunch together outdoors on a grassy area under the shade of a beautiful tree.🌳We left home around 10:00 a.m., and we returned home after 3:00 p.m.—what a busy, active, and joyful day of learning and exploration together! 👌🤝💕 Benefits of Today’s Field Trip: 🙌 This field trip provided children with opportunities to build confidence, independence, social skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities while exploring a new community environment.🧠🤝 Pretend play encouraged creativity, imagination, language development, and social interaction, while building with blocks supported fine-motor coordination, spatial awareness, and early engineering thinking. 🧱 Exploring the library also helped children become familiar with community spaces and discover that learning can happen in many different environments. Our outdoor lunch added another opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy fresh air, and practice social routines and independence. 🌳☀️ Overall, today was a rich, hands-on learning experience that supported children as capable, curious, and active learners! 👏👏👏
