Are you tired of complex lighting tutorials with dozens of settings that still leave your renders looking flat?
In this Corona Renderer tutorial for 3ds Max, we go back to basics and prove that you can achieve soft, beautiful, photorealistic interior lighting with just TWO things: a Corona Sun and a Corona Sky.
We will build this entire bedroom scene from a completely black screen to a final, photorealistic image.
You will learn:
• How to set up a "blank canvas" with Material Override.
• The secret to a soft, realistic Corona Sun (it's all in the 'Size'!).
• How to dial in the Corona Sky (Turbidity, RPG Model).
• Using Color Correction maps to perfectly blend your sky and background.
• Simple Tone Mapping & Post-FX (Bloom/Glare, LUTs) to create a photographic mood.
This is the foundational workflow every 3D artist needs to master. Stop overcomplicating and start creating beautiful renders.
