Sweeping and luminous, the piece captures Wagner's gift for transcendent, hall-filling sonority. 🌟 About the Artists Kristina Winiarski was born in Stockholm in 1994 and started her cello studies as a six year old with Maria Zhuravleva in Moscow, Russia, where she partly grew up. Back in Sweden, she continued to learn from Ulrika Edström and Ola Karlsson, before entering the Academy of Music in Zagreb with professor Valter Despalj. She later continued her studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with professor Torleif Thedéen, with whom she completed her soloist diploma in 2019. Kristina has been an active performer from a very young age. Born 1996 in Antwerp, Anouchka grew up in a family of musicians in Germany, receiving cello lessons in Dortmund from the age of six. Following studies at the Academy of Music in Cologne, the Academy of Music in Lübeck and continuing studies with Frans Helmerson in Berlin, she was selected in the 2017/18 season for Gautier Capucon ́s Classe d ́Excellence de Violoncelle at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. After studying with Jérôme Pernoo at the CNSM in Paris and then in Gautier Capuçon's class of excellence at the Vuitton Foundation, Caroline Sypniewski perfected her skills with Clemens Hagen at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. At the same time, she obtained the DEM in piano at the CRR in Paris as well as a DEM in accompaniment at the CRR in Boulogne-Billancourt.
