Last hiking trip in New Zealand on the way to Japan. Day 1 0:05 - Leaving Christchurch and 4 hour drive to Aoraki 0:54 - Lake Tekapo stop and last hour of driving 2:29 - Arrival to Aoraki National Park 2:55 - Hooker Valley and hike to Hooker Lake 3:43 - First suspension bridge 5:34 - Second suspension bridge. That's two! 8:54 - That's three! 10:06 - Lake Hooker 10:45 - How not to cross a stream 11:36 - Glacier streams 12:26 - Glacier lake 13:24 - Walk in lake and heading back 15:14 - Back at the trailhead 15:23 - Drive to Lake Tekapo 15:33 - Tapataia Mahaka / Peters Lookout 16:25 - Pretty nice rental for the trip Day 2 17:05 - Aoraki National Park parking 17:40 - Sealy Tarns / Mueller Hut hike 18:46 - And now the thousands of stair steps begins... 23:00 - Sealy Tarns 27:08 - Hike back down 28:44 - Kea Point hike 30:53 - Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park Visitor Centre 31:41 - Drive to Tasman Lake 31:57 - Tasman Lake hike 32:25 - Blue Lakes 33:03 - Tasman Glacier View 33:45 - Glaciers in view 34:44 - Glacier boat tours 35:58 - Lavender field 36:13 - Dam intake 37:01 - Fishtail Restaurant and Bar in Lake Tekapo.
