Denon AVC-A1SE flashing power LED, bad solder joints

My beloved Denon AVC-A1SE made a crackling noise in one of the rear channels and then turned itself off. The power LED started flashing and the display was blank. Taking it apart I found a number of bad solder joints mainly on the power amp pre-drive transistors. I checked and resoldered both sides (L & R amps). Don't forget to discharge the main supply caps before you start working on the amp boards. If you don't know what you are doing the get some help otherwise you may cause very expensive damage to occur. Good luck!
