योगी जी भी सवर्णों को भूल गए? क्या हुआ ऐसा, फट पड़े सवर्ण? | General | SC ST | UP | Yogi The biggest test of the upper-caste community’s growing resentment toward the BJP is going to come in Uttar Pradesh. It is being said that before the Uttar Pradesh elections, the Modi government may withdraw the UGC guidelines and try to settle the issue. But the upper-caste community now wants not just a rollback of the UGC guidelines, but also a review of reservation policies and action against the alleged misuse of the SC/ST Act. The reason is that the trust of a section of the upper-caste community in the BJP has been badly shaken. Because people associated with the upper-caste community are repeatedly alleging that, in the pursuit of Dalit and OBC votes, the BJP is completely ignoring the general category. You can see one example of this in a post by senior journalist Ajeet Bharti. In his post, he asks Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath: Are there no poor families among the general category? Why are there no coaching facilities, hostels, scholarships, or similar support for them? Your government has funds for Muslims, but not for Brahmins? Brahmin and Thakur families are living in mud houses, without proper roofs, and are forced to beg for food. I see and hear reports about such people every day. Can you not see these children? In fact, Ajeet Bharti made this post in response to a statement by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which he said that scholarships are available for economically weaker students. He said that his government is providing scholarships to 30 lakh students from the SC/ST communities, 37 lakh OBC students, and 6 lakh students from minority communities. Listen to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement, and then I’ll tell you what happened next. People are reacting to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement by saying: “Sir, please prioritize economically weaker students. Instead of categories such as OBC, SC and ST, eligibility should be based on need and economic condition. Students should be evaluated on the basis of their talent and need, not merely their social category. Let students simply remain students.” Others are sharing Yogi’s statement and asking: “Maharaj Ji, what is there for the upper-caste community?” Some people are saying: “Yogi Ji, you hold not only an important political position but also a highly respected position in Hindu society. Yet you are providing benefits to everyone except the general category, even to Muslims. You could have spent some additional money from the state budget and provided similar benefits to the general category as well. You too have surrendered before Modi.” Others are expressing their anger toward the Chief Minister, saying: “Policies like these are the reason Hindus are being divided. Please have these policies reviewed. Poor and talented students exist in every community and caste. We still have hope in strong and impartial leadership like yours.” Some comments on Yogi’s statement say: “Respected Yogi Ji, whenever you write about students, please write ‘students except those from the upper-caste community,’ so that people from the upper-caste community know where they stand. Whether it is an opposition government or your so-called Ram Rajya government, nobody thinks about the children of the upper-caste community.” Others are reacting angrily, saying: “If there is no place for the upper-caste community in government schemes, then stop taking taxes from us as well. For years, we were given the medicine of Hindutva to secure our votes. But enough is enough. The upper-caste community was ready to give its life for you, but you and your party have only stabbed us in the back.” This anger against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath could hurt the BJP in the elections. Because until now, the dominant narrative has been that Prime Minister Modi has forgotten the upper-caste community and that his government’s policies are increasing caste-based divisions. There has been relatively less anger against Yogi Adityanath. But now, because of statements like these, Yogi is also coming under attack. People are saying: “I say this today with a very heavy heart: the caste-based poison that your central government has injected into your government has reached such a level that perhaps even you will find it extremely difficult to eliminate it.” Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @inblive24
