The costumes became the heart of this world: glass-like layers, porcelain masks, ceramic crowns, translucent sleeves, sharp sculptural shoulders and pieces that look somewhere between fashion, armor and an art installation. Very dramatic, very polished, and honestly a little “we arrived, deal with it.” Some of the scale-like surfaces, pointed crowns and protective silhouettes also gave me a kind of dragon energy.
