A 4-day, 60-mile solo backpacking trip on Missouri’s Ozark Trail, hiking the Karkaghne & Blair Creek sections with caves, springs, bluff camps, and complete solitude. And a 44-mile self-shuttle by bike. This Ozark Trail hike included cave exploration, creek and river bluff camps, and grand vistas. The bike shuttle was also adventurous, with a major roadway bridge out, a dust storm, and very rugged dirt and gravel roads.
