At an elevation over \(4,000\) meters, the Deosai National Park hosts no trees but bursts into a vibrant, high-altitude alpine meadow carpeted with wildflowers and hundreds of aromatic, medicinal plants during the brief summer (June to August). The plateau is rich in traditional ethnomedicinal and aromatic plants heavily utilized by local Balti and Shina communities. Common species include:Tumuro (Thymus linearis): A wild thyme used to treat digestive disorders.Hymenolaena (Hymenolaena candollei): Used in traditional remedies.Delphinium (Delphinium brunonianum): Known for its ethnobotanical value.
