This complete northbound I-91 drive was recorded on a sunny Connecticut afternoon and follows one of New England’s major north-south highway corridors. The route travels through New Haven, North Haven, Wallingford, Meriden, Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Wethersfield, Hartford, Windsor, Windsor Locks, East Windsor, and Enfield before continuing into Massachusetts toward Springfield. Along the way, Interstate 91 connects with many of Connecticut’s major highways, including Route 40, Route 15 and the Wilbur Cross Parkway, I-691, Route 9, Route 3, US 5, I-84, I-291, and Route 20. For much of the trip, I-91 follows the Connecticut River corridor through central Connecticut. It serves as the primary Interstate connection between New Haven and Hartford and continues north through Springfield, Massachusetts, Vermont, and eventually to the Canadian border. I-91 runs for approximately 58 miles through Connecticut.
