What began as a simple project for our Contemporary World subject became a story worth sharing with the world. 🍌 In Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte, the banana peelers are part of a community whose stories remain largely undocumented and unheard beyond their hometown and neighboring areas. This documentary seeks to give their stories a voice, recognize their labor, and bring their lives into the spotlight they deserve. Because sometimes, the stories closest to home are the ones the world has yet to hear. This is their story. And the world deserves to know.
